Setting Laptop to djing using virtual dj
Setting laptop laptop for djing using virtual dj there are two metode too, is internal mixer or external mixer. i'ts depend the capital what you have. If you have a lot maney better you using external mixer setting. But when your the capital is limited my sugestion using internal mixer because for the adding equipment as like Usb soundcard still be cheap. way easy to using laptop is using onboard sound and usb sound. with setting USB sound to output and onboardsound for headphones. 2. headphone pro dj
3. cable rca stereo
4. Virtual dj software 4.3, 5.0,5.0, 5.2pro Skin virtual dj internal mixer support such as dn-3500 sugestion
5. speakers
Installation using onboad sound and usb sound:
Install your virtual dj software if not yet.
1. Go to config or setup in virtual dj
2. Choose sound setup TAB
3. In label outputs select HEADPHONE
4. in label soundcard select TWO CARD
5. In soundcard: choose usb sound ( to set as output to speakers)
6. In soundcards: choose on board sound what you have (to set to headphone)
7. Click ok. setting is done. See how to setting usb sound M-audio for detail.
Next the process for knowing of the result your setting please Tes with load a track on deck A or deck B then listen. you wish tes on deck A then play. Hence voice will be heard from speaker and your headphones. If not hear in your headphones so that, may be you wrong setting. cek out again in Config menu. Tes to mixing different track:
1. Load track on deck A then play ( voice is hear in speaker) , then please load track on deck B
2. Degrading volume level deck B then activated CUE MIX (to preview headphone two track)
3. Listen in your headphone if you hear two track so that setting is right.
